Bellarine Body & Brain: Business Cards
Business card design for Bellarine Body and Brain, a chiropractic and neuro-rehabilitation clinic based in Ocean Grove, Victoria.
This brief required the creation of a clear, functional business card that communicates essential contact information while leaving sufficient space for practitioners to handwrite a patient’s next appointment
The primary challenge was organising the clinic’s information into a clean typographic system that maintained strong visual hierarchy while preserving enough white space for handwritten notes. The card also needed to remain highly legible for patients who may experience cognitive or visual processing difficulties.
Three refined concepts were developed and presented. While two options offered stronger visual impact, usability testing revealed readability issues for neuro-rehabilitation patients. The final direction therefore pivoted toward a more structured, block-based layout that prioritised clarity and comprehension over visual minimalism. Although slightly denser, the final design better served the clinic’s audience and practical needs.
